Gong bath meditation

The universe is composed of vibration and, as the universe in miniature, so are we...every cell, bodily part and thought. Sound offered and received with a healing intention can re align us on the physical, emotional, energetic, mental and spiritual levels. Come and join me at locations across Cornwall.

Sacred healing sounds

The gong is an ancient instrument for raising consciousness. It's vibrations and overtones are felt by every cell of the body and soothe the brain waves into a deeply relaxed, meditative (theta) state. It invites you to transformation and self healing.

What happens in a group session?

No bath tubs, no movie-esque gong strikes...we lay down snugly and begin with guided relaxation, breath or voice and intention setting. Planetary, symphonic & sound creation gongs are accompanied by singing bowls, elemental instruments, voice, the conch shell & shruti box. There is nothing for you to do, just allow the sounds to guide you on a deep inner journey towards wholeness.

Regular gong ceremonies in Truro, Charlestown & Newquay, Cornwall. Contact me to arrange one in your area.

Gong is a special kind of meditation. It takes away the rules and regulations and just allows you to lay there, surrounded by comforting pillows and blankets. Guided by the therapeutic voice of Ali you simply be still and let the sound wash over you. Of course, like any practice, it takes a while to detach from the thoughts running through your mind, to give into the moment and accept whatever comes. But from the first class I felt nourished and protected, accessing some deeper level of consciousness. I’ve had the most moving and deeply emotional connections with my body and spirit during gong, images or feelings coming up so strongly but in a gentle and supporting way. It feels like I’m coming out of a beautiful forest having being surrounded by nature for hours at a time. More than anything, the gong bath is a healing practice that allows you to show up just as you are and leave just as you are, no matter what you face in the outside world.
