Spring Sankalpa - Dundee workshop

  • art angel Waverley House/West Marketgaite Dundee (map)

Rachael & Ali invite you to a morning of rejuvenation through movement, breath and sound. May is the time to make a fresh start: to plant new seeds of intention into the earth of the body and to water them with self care.

Rachael guides you through a joyful, cleansing Akhanda yoga sequence. Akhanda means complete and holistic and this combination of physical postures, pranayama and chanting will leave a spring in your step.

Ali joins Rachael to offer you a ‘sound bath’: laying snugly you’ll be immersed in sacred healing sounds from gongs, Himalayan ‘singing’ bowls, crystal bowls, hang drum, voice and Elemental instruments. Sound with intention rebalances the body and mind, leading into a deep state of self healing and meditation.

Afterwards we’re providing grounding chai and healthy nibbles, with a chance to share, ask and socialise.

Investment: £26.50. Timings: 10.30am - 1pm. Please arrive 10 mins early to get settled and allow us to start on time.

Please note: All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, blankets, warm layers, a scarf to cover your eyes during the sound bath and a bottle for water. If you need us to supply a yoga mat please inform us in advance. For comfort please leave 2-3 hours between breakfast and yoga practise. Please speak to Ali is advance (07855402837) if you are pregnant, have any heart or hearing issues or if there is anything else you are concerned about health wise. Namaste!
